Sadly we haven't had that sort of person in office in a long, long time. (Conservative or liberal) And I doubt we will see that sort of person in office in general. Folks with those views and a dose of honesty and principles and integrity are totally unprepared for, and cannot survive in today's political climate. Each side accuses the other of being the first step to the end of the democracy as we know it, yet if you really look closely, both sides are doing the same things. All either party does is look out for itself. No one seems to care about the PEOPLE that they are supposed to be representing. They pretend to listen during an election cycle, but once that's over its business as usual. NONE of the folks offered up to represent me for the next 4 years even comes close to representing "me" and the views I hold. They all live in a totally different world, and seem bent on nothing more than remaining in that world while they amass more power. It seems that the terms "liberal" and "conservative" have been perverted and twisted to only represent wildly opposite ends of the scary spectrum, and neither represents the bulk of society today. The system is broken, and while its still a better system than most of the other options, it is still broken. The question we face currently is what are we going to DO about it?

I've refused and resisted being sucked in, both in time and money, to those games.

Besides, it would intrude into my porn...er...research time

Brutha, I feel ya! Ok, I don't know your wife, and the link I'm about to give you will forever damn me from her good graces, I'm sure... You see, I'm an old TW2002 junkie, too. Evercrack is good shit, I'll admit. And I find myself on the fence about WoW too... But, my friend, there is a game out there. A game that truly speaks to the old TW2002 spirit in all of us. Imagine TW2002 in full 3D glory. The most intellectual MMO on the market. Seriously, stop reading this and close the browser, for I am about to give you the link that will spark the junkie in you... (and yes, it's an affiliate link, so you better use it if you sign up!)

My apologies to your wife... Message me at 'Arak Thelios' when you join. ;)
